More Crazy Ninja Crap.,

Rate: 2 3/06: American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt has a new lead character and new director but same story and same crap. Steve James is still the same. So, is there anything new to add for this third sequel? Not really. During American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt, it appeared, to me, that bad guys are practically letting the good guys to win. The phony fight scenes lowered the entertainment value, and the ninjas are so wimpy that I could futilely knock them out. Steve James is the show, but he doesn't save the movie from being a bomb. Phony karate moves, lame villains, lack of plot, and crappy subplots are vices of a bad martial arts movie, and American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt is no exception. Steven Seagal did these films with more class and substance. At least, David Bradley, the lead character of American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt, was able to speak more than Michael Dudikoff did in total through the first two films. I wondered how American Ninja series had survived this long and onto couple more sequels. It's very bewildering. Overall, American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt is an dreadfully made picture that passes off easily as a cheap Z-grade version of Mission: Impossible.

Vintage 80's Ninja,
By A Customer
This review is from: American Ninja 3 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
When I first heard that Dave Bradley was replacing Mike "Righteous" Dudikoff as the American ninja for this installment I was skeptical. Blood Hunt is actually the best in the series. The plot centers around some biological weapons shenadigans with some old fashioned Ninja magic thrown in for good measure. Bradley is a talented martial artist, and the plot is actually fairly good. The late Steve James rounds out the cast as his usual bad self, his scene with the 2 for 1 butterfly swords is great. Martial arts fans- see it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID!,
By MICHAEL TAYLOR "SNAKEFIST2" (RICHMOND, VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: American Ninja 3: Blood Hunt [VHS] (VHS Tape)
THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVIE IN THE ENTIRE SERIES, PERIOD. THIS TIME, DAVID BRADLEY, WHO PLAYS A NEW AMERICAN NINJA, MUST PREVENT AN EVIL COMPANY FROM UNLEASHING A DEADLY BIOLOGICAL WEAPON. DAVID BRADLEY JUST ISN'T ABLE TO CARRY THIS SERIES THE WAY MICHAEL DUDIKOFF DID. EVEN THOUGH STEVE JAMES CAME BACK FOR THIS ONE, HE'S NOT ABLE TO SAVE THIS ONE. A TOTAL LETDOWN. WHERE IS MICHAEL DUDIKOFF WHEN YOU NEED HIM?
