This book beautifully tells the story of American nursing in the chronology of US history.It includes the portrayal of nurse leaders, the AMA, AHA and other powerful manipulators of health care, and, the politics of the US health care system and how political agendas continues to affect the power and image of nursing to date...There are 3 million nurses in the USA and only 1/4 of a million physicians....interesting who has all of the power...this book tells the story! It should be in every nursing school curriculum.
