My four-year-old daughter asked for a wagon for Christmas. My wife didn't want to buy her one. I guess she didn't want to pull it around.
I saw this little plastic wagon for sale for around $30, and figured, 'what the heck; get the kid a wagon; it will probably break and be in the trash in a month anyway'. Well, the wagon has turned out to be surprisingly sturdy. I pull my four-year-old (50 lbs) a half mile to the park and back with no problems. Once at the park, I put my four-year-old and my one-year-old (another 25 lbs) in the wagon and pull them both around with no difficulty and no problems. I pull them up hills and down hills, over grass, pretty much everywhere. The plastic wheels hold together just fine. Sure, this wagon isn't going to last for 10 years, but I don't want something rusting in my backyard for ten years anyway. If it lasts a year or two, I'll be happy (and I believe it will). The only thing it doesn't offer is that the handle doesn't fold back enough to allow for steering the wagon by the kid while the kid is sitting in the wagon. That's okay with me though--I don't want my kid rolling around in the wagon by herself anyway.
Also, I put it together in about an hour no problem.

The wagon 'appears' to be durable...although time will tell once put to the 'kid test'.

What is interesting is that all the pieces have to be cut apart from a plastic frame. I relate it to cutting pieces apart when making model planes, cars etc. To me this was unique in assembling a toy such as this. Usually the pieces come individually in plastic bags. In cutting the pieces apart you must be careful to not leave sharp 'tabs'...especially on the inside of the handle grip. Those in the handle grip could leave a nasty cut as they are hard to get really short. A small file would help in smoothing them out. Assembly was slow...and I am no dummy when it comes to assembling things. I STRONGLY SUGGEST PUTTING VASELINE (or white grease) ON THE MOVING PARTS OF THE ENTIRE STEERING MECHANISM AND THE PIVOT OF THE HANDLE AS YOU ARE ASSEMBLING THEM. If not done the steering would be somewhat 'tight' as the plastic tends to bind to itself.

The wagon looks good enough (so far)...but is definitely NO Radio Flyer.

We ordered this wagon because I just wanted something fun to take my 1 1/2 year old to the neighborhood pool in (she's at the stage where she's not fond of her strollers). For only $30ish, this was a fantastic find! Pulling her around in it is super easy and she really enjoys it! The assembly seemed to be faily easy as well- my husband assembled it in under an hour. I don't expect for this little wagon to last her her entire childhood, but it definitely serves the purpose of why I bought it.

I would suggest, however, to add a blanket or beach towel to the bottom of it to make it more comfortable for the child. Again, with a $30 wagon, you give and take a little. The bottom is hard and has grooves, so it didn't look like it would be the most comfortable ride for her without some padding.

As for assembly- the parts are connected to pieces of plastic which can be uncomfortable to handle if you don't 'shave' it off. We used a sharp steak knife to cut the plastic as close to the wagon piece as possible and it worked great.

Overall, super happy with our purchase!

I bought this wagon with trepidation, because I read some of the other reviews and - let's face it, it's half the cost of other wagons and usually you get what you pay for. But I have a couple of unique needs.

I'm an artist with a workroom in a co-op building shared with other artists. Basically I needed a lightweight, easily stored cart to haul paints & brushes from one room to the next. So far so good! This little wagon went together easily and I'm actually using the heck out of it. I get why people say it's cheapie - the wheels snap together and snap onto the cart, and if you don't do it right they *will* fall off. That said, I think this is actually pretty well made for the price.

I carried about 25 pounds in it the other day and it held up great. Love that the handle folds down and that it weighs next to nothing, so I can store it on top of a tall shelf. I am trying to remember to use bungee straps to secure anything I'm worried will fall off of it should the wheels de-snap, but so far so good - I think it's surprisingly durable. I'm not 100% sure I'd carry a child in it, due to risk of injury should it come apart, but for lighter weight materials it's ace. It'd make a dandy yard cart.

I was missing one of the screws to put it together but sent a note on the company's web site and had a new screw in no time flat. So good news on that front as well.

Update 8 months later: I have used this thing TO DEATH and it's held up beautifully. I've carried up to 50 pounds in it without incident. I may buy another one to hold onto in case they stop making it!

Screws were not long enough to attach body to undercarriage. Cheap plastic, won't last long. Wheels only "snap" onto body. I do not recommend.
