4.0 out of 5 stars It served its purpose July 1, 2013
By Tim
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I only received volume II of this book and had to reorder from a different seller. Anyhow, the book served its purpose. I needed it for a US History II class. Interesting read; lots of detailed information about events in our history that I was really not aware of. I feel well informed and a little bit smarter after reading this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not "Like New" March 26, 2013
Format:Hardcover|Verified Purchase
Pages were in good condition, nothing torn. But the cover was worn and there is a huge white sticker on the front that refuses to come off, and leaves the cover all sticky. I wouldn't call it like new.
