I read this book in 2 days, I just didn't want to put it down! I am so grateful to Mike Evans for clearly showing our nation's history, and our place in Prophecy. Because of Mike's experience in the Middle East and as an advisor in Washington he has a unique view of our political actions with the founding of Israel in modern times, and our government approach to a solution for Israel and Palstine by trying to appease all sides and protect our own interests. Mike is able to point out what we have said publicly and what we have done behind the scenes, and what scripture says. We need to take a true stand, as Lincoln did. We need to do it before it is too late. Mike's reference of history, past and current, and knowledge of scripture make it clear that we need to squarely stand behind Israel. We need to repent as a country, and we need to pray for our President and leaders to take righteous, prayerful stands all over the world. This is a time for Christians in this country that may not come again!! I am so grateful for this book! For me, Mike is like a voice in wilderness! Read the book, let God speak to your heart!!

I recently completed reading this entire book. I believe the author is correct in his assessment of the relationship between the U.S. and Israel and how we, as a nation, have both blessed and cursed that nation during our history, especially during the past 100 years. It is the best thing I've read which puts the U.S., our past, present, and future actions into perspective with regard to Israel. The scripture found in Genesis 12:1-3 is as true today as when God gave it to Abraham. The U.S. and its leaders observe it or ignore it to our national honor, or our national shame.

I cannot see the negative rewiew some have given this book, I really wonder if they did any research before giving the review? the documented facts goes back to the times mentioned and are recorded for anyone to see for themselves,I lived at a time when some of the issues were up front, a time some seem to forget or wishes not to talk about, It is well worth reading and I think right on target

This book is a major eye opener to how we the american people have treated God's covenant people throughout our history.We have much to repent for. It is absolutly vital that we stand behind and align ourselves with Israel.
If we refuse, our own future may well be at risk.
Thank you Mr. Evans for boldly proclaiming the truth!

THE AMERICAN PROPHECIES BOOK IS EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID, IN A NUTSHELL. IN MY OPINION, ANYTHING MIKE EVANS COMPOSES IS A GODSEND. WITHOUT PEOPLE LIKE HIM, WE WOULD BE MUCH LESS ECUCATED ON THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE EVENTS. GOD BLESS HIM!!!

I thought it necessary to write the following to the individuals that have stated that the people that have given this book a 5 star rating don't have a clue.

1) I am a Born Again Christian who has studied Revelation in several indepth courses. The one question many of us have is "where does the United States fit into the end times?" Michael's book does not as some have said, "add to the book of Revelation",i.e.,he did not actually go in and rewrite this book of the Bible. Instead, he has used his knowledge of the Bible, and the leading of the Holy Spirit, to investigate and document his findings on American history and how could possible fit into Bible prophecies. I,like most readers, do not read Michael's book "in place of the Bible." I read it just like I would a book by Billy Graham on "how to lead a more godly life." The Bible is still the absolute. It is still the only Book I believe is totally God-Breathed.

2) No one could tell me to give a high rating to a book unless I wanted to and agree that the book is worth the 5-stars. I did read the book - I couldn't put it down - and it is well worth the 5-star rating.

3) We, as Christians, do not do things to "receive blessings from God" (as a few have stated). We do God's will because God loved us so much that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross to save us from our sins. If we accept Him (Jesus Christ) as our personal Savior and turn from our sins, He will save us. (That in it's self is the ultimate blessing from God, isn't it?) However, there are many, many, scriptures in the Bible that state, blessed are they that ..... Wouldn't these verses in the Bible make you, as a Christian, want to do the things that please God, which would result in a blessing from God? Come on, every one would. We're human, we want to hear God say, "Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant." It's like wanting to please your parents -- and God is our Father.

4)We are fully aware (by reading the Bible daily) that there are many commands of God. One of the commands is that we "Pray for the peace of Israel". God says that he will bless those that bless the Jews and curse those who curse the Jews. The Jews are God's chosen people. This isn't a politial thing - it is a truth of God that we must obey.

Bottom line, the Bible is the true word of God and should be read daily so that we will be equipped to discern what is true and what is false in the world today. Michael's book is written to give us insight into American History, how leaders of our country have supported (or not supported) the truths of the Bible, and how their decisions COULD affect the end times for America.

We should debate, but not divide over these type of subjects remembering that the greatest commandment of God is to Love one Another.

I have read "The American Prophecies" cover-to-cover, and have to say that it is the most insightful and easy-to-read book on the Middle East and the spiritual war that is raging between Ishmael and Israel. It explains it clearly and concisely, and is a very enlightened work by Mike Evans. I highly recommend it!

This is the best book I have ever read on prophecies. I literally could not put the book down. Michael truly has insight into this most important subject. It was extremely interesting to learn from this book how past presidents have supported Israel. Why? because they knew (by reading the Bible) that the Jews are God's Chosen People. The Bible states that God will Bless those that love and support the Jewish people. (This is one of those absolutes from God - just because some people don't believe it doesn't make it not true.)

The Bible also states that God will bless those who read and heed the prophecies in the Book of Revelation.
This book is a great addition to any prophecy library. All born again christians should read this book.

Those who vehemently oppose this book either do not find the holy Word of God to be true and accurate or they or are not willing to consider what role America will play in the soon coming future. While there are always uncertainties in the future, I for one am not willing to put my head in the sand or deny the realities of the world we live in. The simple fact is we all need Jesus, He is the only truth, and He is coming back to reign over His creation SOON. The biblical prophesies will come to pass whether or not we believe them. Many of them have already been fulfilled.

I find this book to be historically accurate and very interesting. History does repeat itself therefore why shouldn't we consider the past as we look toward the future.

As I have read most of the reviews of one and two stars, it became apparent to me that many have totally missed the whole point of this book. Yes, God is a just and loving God. He is Love. However, He will judge His creation - that includes you and me. We all will give an account. We all have a part to play and personally, I hope that more and more of us get the point. We must consider ourselves - the condition of our souls. We all should be aware of what the author is saying so that we can soberly examine ourselves and take a godly, righteous position. "The prayers of a righteous man avails much". How can we pray if we're not informed? That my fellow souls IS the point of this book!!!

What a FABULOUS book!! Informative, biblically correct and timely for the times we live in. I will be reading this to my boys (ages 14 and 18). The book pulls no punches and tells it like it is. We are living in the LAST Days!!
