The book every psychiatrist (and medical practitioner) should read.
I found this book as an excellent resource. It is not for just forensic psychiatrists but for all psychiatrists in particular and will be helpful to any medical practitioner. It is well-written with clinical vignettes to make the points crystal clear. Easy read and very helpful in saving the day for the pschiatrists who testify in court as expert witness. Not enough for the forensic boards recert
The book is okay, but doesn't really cover all the topics needed for the forensic boards recert exam, for which I thought it was written. The various contributors are all the Titans of forensic psychiatry, and all have something useful to say, but the book disappoints as it falls short of its intended purpose.

This review is from: The American Psychiatric Publishing Textbook of Forensic Psychiatry (Hardcover)
But that is only one of numerous ways this book may help the psychiatrists.
I will rate it as five stars ***** without hesitation.
