American Religions A Documentary History, November 30, 2009
This review is from: American Religions: A Documentary History (Paperback)
This book is a collection of primary documents written throughout history. These primary documents are written about religion and different movements that have taken places since colonial settlement to the late twentieth century. This book leaves the reader to draw their own conclusions about the topic and religion that surrounds it. The documents at times were hard to read and concentrate on because of the language. It also annoyed me that the author had separate chapters but never had chapter headings. I constantly had to look in the front to find where the chapter started and ended. If she wanted chapters she should have separated it. Overall the book was very informative and helpful at understanding religion.
