Continuing to impress, October 10, 2009

It was almost by pure chance that I discovered the Cobra Skulls a few years back. My friend used to play in a band with the drummer and introduced me to them. From that beginning, to Sitting Army, and now with American Rubicon, the Cobra Skulls continue to impress me. Their seamless combination of punk rock, country, occasional latin elements, and political commentary makes them one of the bands that I'm extremely excited to follow. Whenever I introduce someone to the Cobra Skulls, I explain that they're the best punk band that you haven't heard yet. If your a fan of this genre, do yourself a favor and pick this album up. I think you'll be impressed with the talent of this up-and-coming punk band.
