About the Author

Ken Adams has been mediating inner journeys with silicon for a long time. He began compulsively creating digital stuff with Amiga computers in 1988, collaborating with his life-partner, Britt Welin. As Rose X Media House, they created a series of experimental videos featuring Terence McKenna and other psychedelic luminaries. Rose X highlights include feature-length projects, 'Alien DreamTime' and 'Strange Attractor'. Immediately following the attacks of September 11th, Adams began a series of music videos that evolved into a feature-length experimental documentary, 'Imaginary Muslims & Other Perfect Strangers'. 'Imaginary Muslims' weaves together thousands of films, photos, illustrations, and ephemera culled from the American Memory archival media collections of the Library of Congress and other digital collections. It reflects the premise that we project our own Fears & Desire when we portray Others and Strangers. more info and contact at
