this band was recommended to me by a friend who lives in darwin. I am so glad that I was able to get ahold of the cd because it never leaves my stereo now. smashing drum chops, a steady feel-good beat, and awesome guitar riffs make this one of the best bands out there today. american shoes is a great song, but check out the other singles like "death defy" and "chairman of the board" better yet, get their whole cd called FIVE STAR LAUNDRY you won't regret it

"American Shoes" is truly one of the best songs I have ever heard in my life. Great guitars supported superbly with amazing lyrics and vocals to match. Every time you listen to this song you will remember where you were were the first time you heard it and it will just get better and better everytime you play the CD. Your only excuse for not buying this record is if you are dead or in jail and if you're in jail break out and buy it!

You might buy this CD single for the track "American Shoes," but the other three tracks (Criminal Past, Chairman of the Board, and Spirit Hand) are all equally good.

Highly recommended.

American shoes by Motorace is a classic rock song, with strong drum beats, catchy guitar and great lyrics. Their sound is great, with distinct 'Oasis' influence. Make sure to check this out!
