Decent Collection of Short Stories!,

Okay, I'm not a short story person but since they constitute most of the state approved curriculum in education programs, I have to get to like them. Anyway, The list of stories varies and the writers are all different. The list of stories and authors are below.
The Enormous Door by Reynolds Price is a child's coming of age in a hotel room. Sequoia by Jeff B. Jackson. Where is Here? by Joyce Carol Oates Old Court by Elizabeth Cox Concessions by Kathleen Cambor is about a nurse and her husband and kids and concessions made in life. Texts by Ursula Le Huin The Death Mask of Pancho Villa by Dagoberto Gilb. What Country is This? by Hortense Calisher The Church of No Reason by Andrea Barrett is about a dysfunctional family in Massachusetts. The New Boy by Josephine Carson is about the birth of a baby boy in Mexico and the consequences. Wherever That Great Heart May Be by W.D. Wetherell. The stories range in topics, locations, and completely are independent of one another. If you're into short stories, you will love it. |
