Extra-Wide Three-Inch Flush Valve

It won't warp or distort like ordinary flappers, and the three-inch opening allows water to flow into the bowl over 80 percent faster than a standard two-inch flush valve.

2-1/8-Inch Siphon Trapway
With a larger diameter than the industry standard, Cadet 3 toilets have a fully glazed siphon trapway. This trapway features no choke points and a two-inch ball pass to help prevent clogging, which means it can move a 60 percent larger mass than a standard two-inch trapway.

It will flush anything in the water. If there is tissue on the bowl, it might not flush it. There is not much swishing around the bowl. It is extremely fast, quiet, and efficient. It looks beautiful and is very comfortable. It is a great improvement over the one I had from 1985. It used so much water, but it took such a long time! It was also too tiny and low.

I bought 3 of these toilets from Amazon. They would have been a good buy except for the fact that one was leaking water into the bowl, a tankful in 12 hours! None of the suggested fixes worked. I am observing another toilet which has a very slow leak, but still a leak nevertheless. The only bright note is the way Amazon responded to the problem. It replaced the defective merchandise without any hassle which left me very impressed with Amazon. My big disappointment is what seemed to be the lack of quality control with these American Standard toilets.

We just installed this and couldn't believe how a toilet this sleek and trim could do such a great flushing job. It takes less space than our old one, gives our cabinet doors more room to open. I like the self-closing feature of the lid, too.
