When one purchases a name brand product with a supposedly good reputation (and in this case at a higher price than I saw it a few days later at a local store) and it turns out like this one, it's bitter!

1) A few days after this commode was up and running, a brown rust spot appeared at the lowest visible point of the bowl. I thought at first I could remove it, but no: seems as though the porcelain coating did not coat well or something. At any rate, it's there to stay. (And a permanent brown spot in a toilet is not a good thing for guests to see!!);

2) Flushed water at some places around the top of the rim is either absent or insufficient to produce a clean flush.

American Standard--shame on you!
