This toilet seat didn't feel very good to sit on from day 1 but it is just a toilet seat so I ignored the feel. After several months, under a year, the finish started to lift and flake off. It looked awful. Whatever seal was put over the probably particle board Laurel seat, it is lousy and the seat wasted my money. We should not have to buy a new toilet seat every year. Since I never liked the feel in the first place, I went out and purchased an entirely different brand, different seat, all plastic, which feels and looks great. Spend a little more up front and I expect my new Kohler to last my lifetime.

A hard to find color and it matched perfect.A multitude of colors available. Cleans easily. Quick delivery, great price and great service. Can't ask for anything more. we are truly satisfied.

What can you say about a toilet seat? It fits the bowl and works as designed. What's great about Amazon is I can't find these American Standard seats in the correct color in an Home Depot or Lowes in my area. Great price, very quick shipment.

I've been going through a lot of toilet seats (and a few toilets) recently, and it's taken a load off my mind finding this source of excellent and colorful toilet seats. I like to play Scrabble or Sudoku while I do my business, and sometimes I get all carried away and end up spending a few hours on my canary yellow throne. I need the seat to be comfortable and able to support my formidable girth. American Standard Elongated Toilet Seat is one of the most comfortable that I've found, and with so many colors to choose from, I'll probably stick with the American Standard for the rest of my life, at least until they invent a Lazy Boy recliner toilet.

I rate this toilet seat 5 brown lumps of awesomeness.

I have an American standard black toilet. The seat hinges had gone bad. This American Standard replacement was a duplicate. It was exactly what was needed.

Was as advertised. I wanted something more substantial than the thin plastic seats and this fit the bill! I was happy that it fit my new American Standard "Titan" toilet.
