Picture Doesn't Reflect Actual Product
The picture for this product indicates chrome/metal hinges but the actual product has plastic enclosed hinges. Product is fine but picture representing product needs to be changed to a picture of the actual product being sold.

Product shown is not what you get
Product shown has metal hinges which is what you want to purchase. Product you receive will have plastic hinges and those hinges will bend and break over time. I would recommend going to a local store and making sure the hinges are metal so the toilet seat will last. I spent 7 dollars less than I would have at Lowe's, but I will be replacing the toilet seat...

I spent 7 dollars less than I would have at Lowe's, but I will be replacing the toilet seat in a year or two. Not worth the price.

(This negative review is just about my experience buying this product not about the product itself.) The seat I received didn't have silver hinges. It was the covered plastic. However, out current seat was cracked, and I didn't want to have to wait for the return/reship. So, I asked amazon if they would give me a credit for keeping it. They ended up giving me $3 for keeping it, but for all I know this could be a $15 toilet seat:( I am usually very happy with all my amazon purchases, but I feel customer service could have done a little more. I am an amazon prime member so i got free shipping. I saved them more than the $3 in shipping just by not returning it. I was pretty disappointed.
