What a great book. I laughed so hard and so often I scared my dogs.
When something is this enjoyable to read, why, it just makes any day a little brighter and happier. And of course there are the recipes! What more could one ask for? Laughter and food! This book has it all!

This book lived up to her previous works and I could not put it down until I read it cover to cover! HRH has another winner!

Jill has gone back to her previous writing style and I love it! Couldn't wait for this book to hit the shelves (at Amazon that is!) so I could dive in:-)

Jill Conner Browne has done it again! She is on my "must buy" list but this is her best book is a long time. I laughed until I cried. I shared this book with my friend and she said the same thing. If you are looking for a good laugh, buy this book.

I love listening to the recordings of the Sweet Potato Queens books. They always have a funny way to look at the things that happen to all of us aging, problems with men, the desire to eat lots of delicious but unhealthy food. This one didn't quite live up to the earlier books though. I thought I was hearing repeated things from earlier books and it didn't seem that all the stories really related to the stated topic of the book. The Sweet Potato Queens are always pretty funny, but I probably won't relisten to this one.

Laughed my way through this entire book. Truer statements were never written about us women. You will be able to relate to just about all the situations in the book. Laughed so hard I was crying and may have even "PIMP". I would recommend that you not read this book while sitting in a restaurant eating alone. You may burst out laughing at any given moment and be ushered out in a white jacket. Just too funny!

This is Connor's best book ever. It will make a great Christmas present, and thanks for the price and delivery and making this available to those of us who are rather isolated

Good humor, written and delivered in a very readable format; like listening to your girlfriend share one good tale after another. Especially apropos of women of a certain age.

I LOVE the sweet potato queens and hadn't read the books in a long time. I was so excited to find them again and see there were some I hadn't read yet. The books always make me laugh!
