5.0 out of 5 stars Survived US Airways
Well I do not know about the other guy but my garment bag has survived many trips on US Airways. I can't say the same for my suitcase which is newer than my garment bag(also not American Tourister). I could not give it 5 stars because there was no info on how to hang the garment bag, i.e. No hook. Well as I unpacked from my last flight I noticed that there was a hook...

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap construction
Inside lining of my American Tourister garment bag tore off just after couple of trips. I had expected it to last longer than that!

Well I do not know about the other guy but my garment bag has survived many trips on US Airways. I can't say the same for my suitcase which is newer than my garment bag(also not American Tourister). I could not give it 5 stars because there was no info on how to hang the garment bag, i.e. No hook. Well as I unpacked from my last flight I noticed that there was a hook inside one of the small zippered pockets on the inside top of the bag. I sure could have used this before! You think they would have a piece of paper inside saying where the hook is located. Now that I have found it, I am a happy camper. I could not believe that US Airways tried to charge me $35 bucks for this bag telling me that is was oversized. I told the lady I have been using this bag as a carry on item for over a year and have never been charges. I have been using garment bags as carry on for over 45 years! I just left the ticket counter after telling her where she could shove the fee. I had no problem at the gate carrying this on the airplane as a carry on item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Efficiency and good quality for a very reasonable price, January 20, 2010

A good quality bag - it has lots of clever little storage 'cubby' holes and panels where you can stow your socks, undies, workout garments, etc. and all the while still have space for a couple/three days of hanging clothes and two extra pairs of shoes in the outside compartment. I've had really simple hanging garment bags in the past and have always been forced to still take an extra small suitcase for anything more than a two day trip. I've traveled for work regularly since buying this bag and can pretty much stow a week's worth of clothing in it - no need anymore for an extra bag. Plus - it still looks like new. It's an excellent product as it is, but if it had wheels on it - it'd be perfect. That's about the only thing I can think of to change in its design.
