This book is everything it promises to be, and as a bonus mine came with a pretty good CD that includes a variety of helpful visuals and some stimulating questions and extras. But...it is a paperback that rolls in at around $100+, so I wouldn't be shopping for it unless I needed it for a class. It must weigh in at around five pounds.

There were no markings or highlighting, but the tops of the pages were bent. Still a good book for the price.

I cut the book in half because it's a bit of a burden to haul around and it's used a ton in my American Studies class, but otherwise it's a great book with so much of the reading that you need for American History classes.

While the order for this textbook was placed too late for comfort, it is with pleasure and a big sigh of relief that I submit the speed in which the book was delivered was right on time. It was better than on time, it arrived early and at a much better price that was offered by the online bookstore commissioned by the school.
