Editorial Reviews

2011 release containing remixes of tracks from their hit album American Tragedy. Hollywood Undead are an explosive cocktail of hip hop, rock and metal, forging an alternative style that carved out a loyal and die-hard fan base since their debut on the LA scene in 2005. They craft incisive, sharp and sarcastic raps that slash the jugular of mainstream pop culture. Donning individual masks, Hollywood Undead possess a dark aesthetic that's connected to their hometown's depravity.

I usually love the Undead boys. I've been a fan of Hollywood Undead for years. Their music is fun and addicting.

I get this is the redux version, as in the remixes. There was one, maybe two songs, that I actually liked from this album.
That's not good when that's only 20% of the album. The original album is so much better.

I honestly didn't feel like this is a good presentation of HU. Some of the remixes are alright don't get me wrong. However, listening to each track a few times it has a very lack luster feel to it and slightly disappointing. I love club remixes and club songs, but this isn't how good it could have been.

On another note American Tragedy is legit, go for the deluxe with Le Deux.

As a Hollywood Undead fan boy I wish I could rate this album five stars, but unfortunately it isn't worth it. There's only one track that I like, "Le Duex [Dr. Eargasm Remix]", and I'm usually pretty open minded, but the rest don't even have a decent beat. I heard this track and that's why I bought the album, but I realized that the other tracks don't even compare to this single track. You aren't missing much, the original tracks were much better. I feel like HU, and A&M Octone put this album together as a ploy to try and make some more money under the HU label. They got my money, they don't need to get yours. If I were to purchase anything, I would purchase that one track I mentioned earlier. It's honestly pretty good. The rest however, don't come close to the expectation I was given with that track.

-HU ARMY!
