Very reasonable price and while not as accurate as my Ohaus after many tests it has never been more than .1 off the much higher end unit. This unit would be acceptable for anyone not needing scientific levels of accuracy.

I bought this machine for weighing baking ingredients. I also make my own cosmetics. Most of the time this scale surprises me with it's sensitivity and convenient features. Every once in a while it shows 88888 on its screen, but this is quickly remedied by turning it off and back on. Rarely, it shuts off in the middle of adding several ingredients to it, so I have to start over. But overall I'm impressed that something so light can read 1/10th of a gram. Highly recommend for the amature cook or crafter.

I purchased this scale to determine the Moisture Content of Kiln Dried Lumber. Does just what needed. The only issue: the 9 volt battery that came with the scale failed in less than 24 hours.
