This scale has a steady reading, comes with a calibration weight, and the measuring tray is almost as big as a CD so it's easy to work with. It comes with an assortment of different themed sleeves. It has a count function...for instance you could count how many marbles are in a jar with it (just don't exceed the weight limit). The display lights up nicely for weighing things in low light situations. I wouldn't call it a 'pocket scale', but this is just about as portable and much more functional than most any pocket scale.

I got one that was missing the bottom LED segment all the way across the display. It was promptly replaced with another that had no sensitivity. I'd keep putting more on, then it would jump by 7 grams all at once. I recommend the retailer, but the scale wass worse than worthless to me.

The scale is pretty cool looking and has a big bright screen, but it does not weight accurately all the time. I exchanged it once thinking I got a bad one, but the replacement did the same thing. I've tried all the recommendations, like letting sit for a while, having it on a flat surface, ect, but it still reads under (by .1) 6 out 10 times with the 1gram weight it comes with and other items like a dollar bill, and marble. It's pretty heavy so it's not worth the shipping to exchange it again or get a refund. The only thing left to try is to calibrate it, but you have to buy the weights for that. Even if it works after calibrating it, I wouldn't recommend it, I'd rather get something that will work right out of the box.
