5.0 out of 5 stars Great
Love the whole soundtrack. Introduced me to great bands like Caroline's Spine and makes great background noise for most anything. Really enjoyed the movie and a great deal of my pleasure came from the soundtrack. A mix of energetic bounce and sleek sexy neo noir. I highly recommend it and the movie.

2.0 out of 5 stars I had to have the remix of Mouth
This is the only place I know of where I could find the mix of Mouth that was released on the radio. That's the only reason that I bought the CD and I have to say that it's the only thing on the CD that was able to hold my attention. So, I'm a satisfied customer, but if you're not into buying discs for a single track, you might stay clear of this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff that the radio will never play, November 7, 2001

Finally, some Better Than Ezra, Bush, and other good alt/rock that trashy pop radio will not pick up and play to death. The last couple of tracks leave something to be desired, but it is a very solid soundtrack.

This soundtrack seems to me a great compilation of the real non-commercial but cool rock'n'roll music full of energy from the end of the century. If my grandchildren at the 2050 year asking me: What you can say about true rock music in 90'? I will say: Just listen to this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best compilation without intending to be a compilation, August 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: An American Werewolf In Paris: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This CD is great!! I loved the songs that I recognized (Bush and BTE) and really enjoyed discovering the rest of the CD. The songs have a great sound. This is an all-star alternative compilation without that being the motive. The Cake song is a great twist on an old song. This is a definite must-have!

I owned this soundtrack in the late 90's. I loved it and lost it. Just recently bought it so I can enjoy the tracks again. It has a cool mix of Mouth by Bush. Check it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars fun mix of rock and indie punk, January 3, 2008

Honestly, I thought that the movie was ok, but not that great. The soundtrack, however, takes no prisoners. It's been in constant rotation in my car changer for more than 2 years now. I think that I like it because you would not hear this music on commercial radio. The songs are fun, unexpected, and well-executed. Ok, so some of them are showing their age, but so what? You either love or hate Cake, and their version of Never Gonna Give You Up cracks me up. Also a nice introduction to Skinny Puppy -for those younger fans who are rediscovering the original punk bands. Give this one a chance. I dare you to listen to Mouth (stingray mix), and not have it stuck in your head!

I bought this soundtrack after seeing a preview of the movie. I love the soundtrack. Every song on it is very good. This is my favorite soundtrack to date. I love the Bush song because I didn't have it before. My favorite of the soundtrack was Fat-downtime. If anyone wants a soundtrack of great artists making great rock songs then this is your soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars It kicks ass, July 18, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: An American Werewolf In Paris: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
This cd is great!! Aside from the obvious song from bush (great), it's also got some awesome songs. Take for instance "Humantorch" by fastball. It's great andI think it sounds BETTER than "The way". If you don't have it, you should defintly get it.
