From Library Journal
This book is a welcome finale to the 25-volume Vietnam Experience , which has been co-published as a series for the past eight years by Time-Life and the Boston Publishing Company. This work continues the tradition by emphasizing immediate you-are-there style of combat reporting, with accounts by Walter Cronkite and U.S. Rep. Morris Udall of Arizona. Well over half the pages in the large format book, in fact, have photographs; some familiar, others newly publishedall of which are excellent. While the book excels in presenting the battlefield up-close, it also covers other dimensions of the war such as the resistance movement at home and the peace negotiations. Recommended. John H. Boyle, California State Univ., Chico
