5.0 out of 5 stars If you want HOT, this is gonna burn you
I can not really tell you too much about the flavor because this burned all the taste buds off my tounge. Before I tried it, I thought it smelled good. I could smell the pinapple juice in it. It made me think of the tropics.

Now to put the taste in context. I eat Dave's Insanity Sauce and have no problem with the heat, as a matter of fact I asked the salesperson for...

This is the hottest stuff I have every tried, and I have tried alot. When you first put it in your mouth its not bad but after bout 10-15 seconds you can't do anything but hang on for the ride. Ane believe me the ride is not fun. This stuff shoud be kept way out of reach of any children or people with heart problems.

I can not really tell you too much about the flavor because this burned all the taste buds off my tounge. Before I tried it, I thought it smelled good. I could smell the pinapple juice in it. It made me think of the tropics.

Now to put the taste in context. I eat Dave's Insanity Sauce and have no problem with the heat, as a matter of fact I asked the salesperson for something hotter because I was getting used to eating very hot foods. I eat Blair's Sudden Death Sauce and think it has good heat. But Da Bomb was easily so much hotter than those two it burned my tounge like nothing else I have tried. I found myself by the kitchen sink washing my mouth with water. For those who eat tobasco, move on, this is like asking for car battery acid. But for those who are eating habanero's and think Dave's is mild, then this might be what you are looking for.

I agree with everything Harry says... you *do* have to be careful how you use this sauce. Best to mix it into something else and spread it around sparingly. I also use Dave's Insanity Sauce, Possible Side Effects, and MadDog 357 regularly... and a couple of those claim to be hotter than Da Bomb Ground Zero. But my tastebuds tell me otherwise! This is far and away hotter than any of those. Tastes good, yes it does, just be careful how much of it you use.

5.0 out of 5 stars Use sparingly, October 12, 2006
This review is from: DA BOMB Ground Zero, 4 fl oz (Misc.)
This sauce has no purpose with exception of pain. It is far beyond the possibility of being used to flavor foods. I've seen 20 year old men pass out from 1 Tablespoon of this stuff. If you think you have what it takes, think again. At first the sauce has no heat. After about 30 seconds, you will experience hell.

Word of advice: HAVE ICECREAM NEARBY and plan on spending the rest of the day in or on the toilet.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Fun, but Dangerous!, October 11, 2007
This review is from: DA BOMB Ground Zero, 4 fl oz (Misc.)
Wow! This little bottle of hot sauce packs a punch. I first bought this product when I was in college and boy oh boy it was fun. This is really hot! HOT! HOT! HOT! Here's what you don't want to do:

WARNING! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRY THIS AT HOME. READ THE WARNING LABEL ON THE BOTTLE.

DO NOT:
1. Heat up a frying pan in your friend Boot's house and drop a little "DA BOMB" hot sauce in the pan! All of the guests will flee from the house as if mustard gas was just released.

2. Put "DA BOMB" hot sauce in somone's lotion, toothbrush, or phone receiver as it spreads like wild fire. It's worse when it gets close to your eyes.

3. Throw a house party and dare party-goers to try "DA BOMB" hot suace on the end of toothpick, and when he needs something to take the hot away, hand him a piece of bread with more "DA BOMB" hot sauce on it. Your party will be over quick.

4. Sneakily drop "DA BOMB" hot sauce on your friends pizza when he walks away from the room. After his first bite, he will look directly at you with anger!

Again, these are tales from the "Underside". Fools from the Underside can do some crazy things when they are youngsters...DO NOT ATTEMPT THESE STORIES, AS I AM NOT LIABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.

OH yeah...Can I get my jeans back Daaveed?

234,000 or 357,000 or 600,000... a lotta nonesense. I've also gone through many of the big names in the Habanero Sauce world and THIS stuff, with the "measly" 234,000SU just stomps on the competition like the Incredible Hulk stomping on a puny human. Seriously. It'll stomp on your head, too, so watch out.

I happen to think it tastes good, too.

One caveat, which applies to most of these sauces - I do wish they'd put it in a more sensible bottle. The lid gets sloppy and I'm always nervous about getting this devil sauce on my fingers. One molecule of Ground Zero in your eye would cause incredibly misery, and I've got a kid at home to think about.

A squeeze bottle might be good, but I wonder if Ground Zero would eat through the plastic? :P

5.0 out of 5 stars The name says it all, July 30, 2010
This review is from: DA BOMB Ground Zero, 4 fl oz (Misc.)
This stuff is Da' Bomb. I totally agree with the other 5 stars on here. I usually eat Dave's Temporary Insanity on all kinds of stuff, I use the Da' Bomb Beyond Insanity/Dave's Insanity quite a bit with certain foods, but I can barely touch this stuff. The burn is so much more powerful and lasting compared to any of those that I can only handle a small amount. I'm not buying the 234k Scoville rating either.

The flavor is good. You can't even remotely taste it unless you eat very hot foods all the time. I highly suggest the entire Da' Bomb line to give you a good range of heat options. I also noticed there is a ghost pepper sauce on Amazon too, first time I've seen it.

My second bottle and I'm hooked. My favorite use is to toothpick this stuff, then spread an ultra thin layer on my sammiches. Blazin hot ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars Da Bomb Really is the bomb!, March 3, 2009

My mom got me some of this stuff! Oh, where have you been all my life! I usually make my salsa with about 6 jalepenos, 3 serranos and 5 jabeneros per 28 ounces of tomatoes...but it tastes too green if ya know what I mean...and no one wants to eat it but me...but this stuff ROCKS...I can add it to anything I want...anytime! It actually made my eyes water for a few minutes the first time I tried it and that hasn't happened in a very long time...even burned my lips. AWESOME! I just bought 6 more bottles. It relaxes me...so I know it's hot because it gets my endorphins going! Absolutely love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Ground Zero is a good sauce. Hot as Hell too., May 11, 2010
This review is from: DA BOMB Ground Zero, 4 fl oz (Misc.)
When I first bought this I read the whole bottle and saw the 234,000 Scovilles marked on it and thought to myself this won't be that hot. Well I opened it up and it smelled really hot but good. I could smell the fruit in it. I tried some on my finger and it blew me away. Definitely not 234,000! I think they lie to you so you take a lot the first time and almost kill yourself, lol. I know it's hot. As for taste not bad, but not excellent. You can't really taste the pineapple or lemon and lime juices. I just taste the heat. But good sauce overall and it's really good on cheese.
