This book was a great help to me. It offerred photos, prices, risks and recovery times for a number of procedures I have been considering. It certainly opened my eyes about cosmetic surgery! Definitely a great read.

Don't be deterred by the look of the cover. This book may look like a small paperback manual, but it has all the information you need before you consider cosmetic surgery. With prices, photos, possible risks and recovery time all laid out in detail for you, it is a must read for anyone considering a medical procedure. It prepares a patient with questions and alternatives so that when you get to the doctor's office you will be "in the know." I have been shocked at how expensive cosmetic procedures are, so this book really gave me some perspective on my options. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and highly recommend it.

I used this book as a reference to find a good physician and cosmetic dentist. I had been considering getting my teeth fixed and whitened and even getting a chin implant for quite a while, but I didn't think I was ready or thoroughly informed enough. So I did some research and found this book and as soon as it arrived I read through it and found lists of the types of procedures available and the risks involved. It even has a checklist guide in the back to help you get ready for surgery. I recommend it!!!

This book helped me locate a great plastic surgeon and understand the nature of the procedure I was interested in undergoing. I got this book on a Sunday and by Thursday I found a qualified doctor to perform the surgery. I scheduled it for a Monday and the results are amazing.
