I needed this book for school. Wow! am I learning a lot. I like how it is writen. Easy to understand and comprehend. Will hang on to this one for future references in the Criminal Justice field.

I have not finished the book, so for now all I can do is provide a review for the kindle and the app for the PC. Everything works good except for the exhibits , charts, etc, they do not work. I use e-books for the simple reason I can enlarge the print size.For this book, the text will enlarge, however the charts and exhibits actually become smaller. I can not read the material presented on these. Since the instructor uses these areas extensively, it is critical that I know this material. I contacted Amazon and they suggested that I report the problem on the kindle (right click, more, report) with no results or communication. I will now attempt to get a refund as I purchased a copy from Barnes and Noble and will use their nook. Everything works great with nook, the entire page enlarges.
Technology is fantastic, until it screws up, we just have not figured everything out yet, but until then, go with nook, I did.

The book was in great condition. It was like new! It arrived fast, and had it right on time for my class.

I like the book. Very informative for Criminal Justice and the Legal System class I am currently enrolled in. Obviously not an everyday read, but it's definitely a good textbook - more interesting than many I have encountered in the past.

It would have been nice to know prior to downloading this book for Kindle that the Kindle version does not include page numbers. My instructor is requiring us to know the page numbers for answering questions.

The book came in even better shape then I had expected for being used. It came quickly in the mail. Excellent service.

This book is an older edition I needed for the class and it worked just as well as newer editions.

are you interested in learning about the America's court systems? well, this will be where to start learning the process and what applies and what not. i give it a 4 starts because i received a c grade in the class. i wish i was smart to get an a grade, i can be a lawyer or judicial representative. good luck.
