Not that great
I had to use this book for a U.S. history class. It is not well organized, it jumps from one topic and time period to the next so you are confused all most the whole time about where and when they are talking about. I would not read this book if I had a choice. I enjoy history but there must be a better book.

I had to use this book for a U.S. history class. History Revised,

As a pupil of history, and having read my fair share (and then some) of America's nonfiction historical documents and books, I can say that this is yet another glossed over "portrait" of America. To me deemed more likely a High School history book rather than a Collegiate text.
