5.0 out of 5 stars IT ROCKS!
The Sillies were Detroit's first real punk band. This CD captures the excitement of their music and the spirit of the punk revolution as it happened in Detroit. This is easily one of the top 10 "must have" punk rock albums.

This sucks. I had a feeling it would. Everyone is ugly and can't play their guitars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Detroit Garage band, March 25, 2004

The Sillies were one of the most influential bands Detroit ever produced, having single-handedly created the Detroit punk/New Wave scene around themselves and their club Bookie's. This is the album they should have done in 1977, though the material stretches from 1977 to 2002. MC5 members Wayne Kramer and Dennis Thompson make guest appearances on "Punk Rock Girl". The songs often display a ribald sense of humor and fun that is so rare these days. This was a band that clearly knew how to show the ir audience a good time. It's a pity there is only one video on this enhanced CD, but the 40 photo JPEG's help tell the story. A really fine package and well worth the money.
