This book is great, i must admint to buying some prima guides before (Mafia is one) and finding them helpfull but sometimes they are less than complete. This one however is excellent, i have been playing AAO for about 8 months now and know alot about the game but this book has helped, it points out both good and bad spots to engage the OPFOR team and more detailed info about the weapons. The reviews and interviews are interesting (although i am a programmer so find these a little more intresting than the average joe).

This book will be great for anyone that wants to know more in order to make themselves better at AAO. All you need now is some play time to practice !

This guide provides a lot of useful information for the playing of America's Army: Operations. Whether you're a newbie or a pro, you'll most likely find snippits in here that you've never heard of. The book has a different chapter for every map in Army Ops, and within these, you'll find pretty much everything you'll need to know to raise your Honor. I found it particularly useful that the book gives specific hiding places great for stealth and to set up for an ambush.

Bottom line--This guide WILL help you succeed in your gameplay.

It was extremely helpful and I would recommend that anyone who enjoys games like Delta Force and Medal of Honor get this game.

This guide does not give you anything you do not get with the pdf files included in the game. Yes it is nice to have a regular book to read through but the content is redundant. I recommend you get the game but skip this book. You will also find all types of info if you just google search for americas army cheat codes.. server codes and so on...

About the game...

I have been playing America's Army (AA) since it first came out two years ago. I also have played nearly every other combat shooter sim and game. AA is the most realistic squad level combat sim you can get.. (by the way, you can buy the CD or download the entire version 2.6 game for free from Americasarmy.com

America's Army is a good stand alone game but it excels in multiplayer. IT IS THE BEST ONLINE SQUAD COMBAT GAME. It rocks if you play on your local network or on the internet. It is easy to setup and a blast to play. I recommend you go through basic training before you play online though. Basic training will teach you all of the easy to remember commands and give you options such as Medic Training, special forces or SNIPER training. This game rocks..

Hey, no offense to Prima - but I usually don't buy their strategy guides. Who needs em? If you're a professional gamer, you pick up most of this stuff anyway. But after reading a friend's copy, I decided to pick one up myself. Here's what you get: detailed maps (cool overhead shots!) with the same location descriptions that are in-game, offense and defense missions, MUCH MUCH more info on the weapons that the website has, and information on each of the different Tours of Duty. Best yet - and here's the kicker! They've got real-world Army soldiers talking about the maps, a history of the Army, interviews with the DEV team, and tons more info.

Again, even if your not a fan of PRIMA strategy guides, this one is a KEEPER! And you get a FREE GAME CD WITH IT TOO! For... Get em while they're hot! You won't be disappointed!

The game version does not match the one played online and online is the only way to play this game. The patches to make it the version played online are not compatable with this version of the game. Prima makes no attemt to support this product. The manual is nothing more that the text for the game. I would like my money back. I had to down load the game to make it work. This a free game, it is put out by the US Army and is free to download. the game is fun and the army tech support in the best I have seen. But that has nothing to do with this version of the game.

20 bucks for a guide of a game that tax payers paid for? in October the console release of Americans Army is coming out and that's 50 bucks right there. All tax payer money. With the cost of that our troops could have more armor
