This is a high quality folding stool. The canvas material to sit on is comfortable along with being very durable. Extremely easy for transportation. I use it all the time while I'm plein air painting outdoors. This product is priced well. Highly Recommend!!!

I bought this stool because the description said it folds to 12". IT DOES NOT. It is 24". Otherwise, seems like a nice stool.

Does not fold down to 12 inches. Also weighs 2.5 lbs on the tag. Yes it can be a big deal when backpacking. Not happy with this. On a different note, I found that it is also not very comfortable, and my next one will have a small backrest on it. My fault there.

This is a great portable stool. It's compact, easy to carry, and comfortable. I take it with me everywhere I go in case I have to do a lot of "waiting", which is common. I have a bad back and standing for extended periods gives me a lot of pain. I recommend it to everyone, bad back or not.

I bought this item in June 2006 for a camping trip to Bass Lake, CA.
The chair worked very well for several months. However the plastic composite fulcrum piece which holds the legs in place split in half while sitting on it in my house. I slightly tweaked my back when I fell. I only weight 190 lbs. I think it may have been defective. I emailed the manufacturer and they did not respond.

I do a lot of kneeling or crouching in one spot when doing sports photography. This stool looked like a good bet to save my knees, and having used it for one afternoon so far, I love it. I was worried that it wouldn't be low enough for me to get the best shots, but it works well. I don't have to hack the ends of the legs off after all! It folds up quite compactly so I can easily carry it in my Camelback, but it does stick out the top a couple of inches.

This chair is a good height for bow hunting from the blinds I use, so it at least works. With a little giggling it unlocks and folds up for transporting. It is sturdy, though my hunting partner broke his on the first hunt. What I don't like is that the slight bucket triangular shape seat is not comfortable for sitting for several hours. It feels like it cuts into your legs and cuts off circulation a bit. I've gone to a flat seat style with no back which works better. I did remedy the discomfort somewhat by bringing along a custom cut piece of foam to place under my rear end, and the fact that it rotates allows for an easier postural adaptation for shooting your bow than many other style chairs, especially ones with a back, as you don't have to pick up the chair and move it to make an adjustment. So in that regard it works better for bow hunting than some other styles I have used. It does not make noise when you rotate on it either, so it won't spook game. Except for the comfort aspect, which can be major, it is a pretty good chair.

I don't know if this is the same model that I bought, but if it is the swivel model, then I will have to say that it is an excellent product with one must modification. My friend Chip and I bought this chair to use while ground bow hunting.The height is adjustable and the swivel design enables the hunter to change shooting positions with the minimal amount of movement. It is quiet and lite to carry.The first day that we brought them into the woods, the stools collapsed, and we both fell on our rumps. When the legs sink into the ground your weight shifts placing too much force on the plastic housing, and it breaks. If you add a metal hose clamp around the top housing where the seat legs connect, the chair will not break. This addition is a must if you don't want to break your "you know what." It is also the difference between a zero or five star rating.Chip threw his out, but I epoxied mine back together and added a large hose clamp, and I couldn't be happier. I weigh 220lbs, and I haven't had a problem with that chair since. I recently bought another similar chair from another manufacturer,and although it can handle 330lbs, it weighs twice as much as your product. I will continue to use your product in the woods, and use the other when target shooting.

Can't give it a five star yet cause I haven't had it long but so far it has held up to 200lbs and still in use. Easy fold and carry just what I needed for a quick sit. I would recommend this item for anyone who needs to take a quick seat weather watching a baseball came or doing alittle fishing.

This is much heavier than I expected. The shoulder strap attached to one of the legs is so short you can't carry it over your shoulder. It's not very comfortable. However all in all, it does what it was designed for. Gives you a place to sit that's not in the dirt.
