I have been hunting since I was 9 years old with my grandfather.. I now find myself in his shoes..I have had four heart attacks,open heart surgury as well as knee, and hip surgury. For me to get into a tree stand is now almost impossible and once I get there I generaly freeze to death in our Minnesota deer seasons, which has taken the fun out of it for me. This past month I purchased the Ameristep (outhouse) blind from Amazon.com. What a great product at a fantastic price...This seasons opener was 1 degree above zero with 16-20 mph winds and the hunters in trees did not last long. Very poor sucess.. I on the other hand hunted in shirt sleves with my solar heater in my NEW BLIND. I saw 39 deer in six hours while hunting on my brother-in-laws farm and tagged two beautiful deer. I had deer walk up to within 15 feet of the blind and never see me. I only wish I would have had one of these blinds when I hunted with my grandfatherand father, as it would have given them more years in the field enjoying what they liked best hunting. I have been blessed with new technology and because of this blind I am sure I will see many more years in the field. This has got to be one of the best purchases I have ever made... Take it from me it realy works....this would make a tremendous gift for those you love, and help keep them hunting......Bruce H Shorter
