Ameristep Outhouse Doghouse Blind Safety Blaze Cap fits both spring steel and hub style blinds. This blaze orange cap provides the safety-conscious hunter with the assurance that they will be seen by other hunters even when inside the blind. Compact enough to fit in any small coat pocket or daypack. Fits securely over the peak of your blind, covering only 1/4 of the blind. Maintains visibility without obstructing your shooting. Works with most spring-steel pop-up blinds. Weights approximately .38 pounds.

This item is now required in the state I live. It fits nicely on my full size blind, but it's a little too big for an Ameristep Gunner blind but can be made to fit by trimming a little off the edges. Snugs down nicely with the elastic straps and hooks. Since I had to trim it to fit the gunner blind, I sewed 4 strong magnets into the new hem and that makes it super quick and easy to attach to the blind's steel ribs. The visibility of it is good, although it is a little shiny, but this will probably weather down over time. All in all, I recommend this product even if law doesn't require it where you live.
