For $99 this desk is great. It was very easy to assemble, finished it under an hour. The only bad is that it came with two bumps, probably due to UPS shipping and handling. Overall I would recommend to someone looking for an affordable L shaped desk.

This desk is beautiful and sturdy! Ease to assemble. I said ease, not fast.. it took me about an hour, but I did it with my toddler's "help". I used a power screwdriver, and you will need a hammer for some of the assembling.

There were no scratches or anything wrong with the desk at all. Just perfectly packaged. Love the color and finishes. Great deal for the price for sure. Just beautiful. This desk is perfect for small spaces, as you can see on the pictures I provided we share the office space with our dining room. This desk provides lots of working space, without taking up so much space.

Great desk for small office space. Easy to assemble with two people (approx 1 hour).
One piece of wood was damaged - but we fixed it by sanding it down and using touch up paint. Amazon gave a discount to compensate for the damaged piece.

This desk is nice, especially for the price of $89. No damage upon delivery. It's sturdy, but is plagued with the ailments of all easy to assemble furniture. I can't stand how easily it scratches and the finish peels off. This happens with a lot of furniture like this, so I'm glad the price was good.

I was surprised how big the desk was, and it is not cheaply made also. Easy to assemble. All I needed was a screwdriver, and everything was clearly explained in the manual book.
I would recommend this desk to anybody.

My husband needed a desk for his graduate studies, something to spread out papers and books and write on. We didn't want to spend too much, so were looking in the $100 range. Chose this because of the look, size, simplicity, and price. Was willing to risk the $100 with the hopes even if it was a little weak, it would last us a few years.

I'm very impressed! It was about 1.5 hour for a single person to put together, and very easy at that. It came in a pretty decent box. It's pretty heavy. Once together it's attractive and simple. I couldn't be happier.

Just be aware if you are looking for a perfect, solid, gorgeous desk that holds incredible weight and stands up to all torments... go spend more! This is a $100 desk. I also have a desk we spent about $500 on and I expect that desk to be much closer to perfection. For a hundred bucks, my husband and I are perfectly content with this little one. If it stands up to a few years, I think we'll have gotten our moneys worth.

You can not beat this desk for the price. I put it together myself and it took me approximately 2 hours and I was taking my time. It was a lot better marked with easy to follow directions than other pieces that I've had to put together.

It fits my laptop and printer just fine - though I do have to angle the printer.

My Pro-Tip: Cut the box so that it lays flat and then keep the two table tops in there until it is time to assemble. I assembled per the instructions upside down keeping the table top on the box. This is not an expensive or pure wood product so it does scratch easily - doing this means that you'll make it through assembly with the top unscratched and intact.

2) Purchase the tiny felt circles with sticky backing or silicone feet and put them on the bottom. This desk has no feet - just the particle board. If you don't add some feet of some kind (I put the felt pads all along the edges because I have wood floors) it will scratch the floor, break apart and splinter at the laminate when it shifts and if you ever spill on the floor that particle board will soak it up and bubble and then you'll probably lose stability.

I wanted to wait to write my review until I had a chance to really put the desk to use and not just out of the box. I've had the desk for 3 months now. Here's my thoughts:

1.) The desk was time consuming to put together. Right out of the box we noticed a big scratch going across one of the pieces of wood. It wasn't a big deal, the area where it was scratched could be hidden. So we put the desk together only to discover that there was a screw cover missing. Again, not a big deal because it could be hidden, but when you purchase something, no matter how big or small, you expect ALL the parts to be included... Or at least I do. Also, the bottom shelf falls off the tabs in the back anytime the desk is scooted or moved. Not a big deal because I finally found the place I want the desk to be, but again, when I purchase something, I expect it to be fully functioning without having to put pieces back together just because I decided to move it an inch.

2.) The desk looks really nice once it's put together. The problem comes that with use, the varnish seems to fade. I use a wireless mouse on the desk and you can tell the area that I use the mouse in because there are multiple little spots where the varnish is rubbing off. It does not affect anything functioning, it's simply an aesthetic eye sore if you're sitting at the desk. From afar, it's not noticeable.

3.) The desk is very sturdy. I have no complaints about that.

All in all, it's a good little desk with a few minor issues.

The product arrived in a great condition and fast (3 business days via UPS). I like the furniture piece overall. Here are the pro's and con's.

Pro's:
-inexpensive
-sturdy
-"L" shape (great for multitasking)
-simple
-easy assembly (clear instructions)
-fast delivery
-useful grommets for cable management

Cons
-desk space is narrower than expected (see pictures for exact dimensions)
-sharp edges

The pro's out-weigh the cons and which explains my high rating. I got this desk in May 2015 and will update my review in a few months.
