I purchased these knobs on Amazon for a fraction of the price I would have paid if I'd bought them at Home Depot, Target, or some of the other amazon sellers. The base on these knobs is slender as shown in the picture. Initially I wanted something a little bit thicker, but they were triple the price so I went with these. I am not disappointed at all, because they look great on the cabinets. They have a very nice satin nickel finish (more of a "brushed" look). Each knob came individually wrapped with it's own screw. Keep in mind you may need to pick up additional screws because the face of the drawers is usually bigger that the cabinet doors.

This knob set I purchased from Amazon was surpringly cheaper than those found in Lowes or Home Depot. You cannot get wrong with this order. My kitchen cabinets look exciting new (cherry cabinet with this knob). I highly recommend this.
