This review is from: Aluminum Cue - 57" (EA) (Misc.)
Amerola Aluminum Cue - 57"I bought the 21 ounce model. Pros: - perfectly straight - slides very easily through your fingers - black handle has a good feel to it and looks OK (sort of utilitarian) - good results on the pool table - replacement screw-in tip can be replaced in about 10 seconds; Morpro Screw In Tips For Wood and Aluminum Cue - inexpensive for a decent cue Cons: - balance point is 18" from the butt, but it feels as though 90% the cue's weight is at that point. I.e., the rest of the cue is feather-light. - the screw-on tip sometimes loosens on its own; only takes a second or two to re-tighten the tip, but it's annoying. - cue makes a sound when you hit the ball, as though you've just whacked a hollow aluminum tube..., which you have, since the cue is hollow aluminum. Other: - one piece (does not come apart in the middle) - made in Malaysia Summary: This cue is straight as an arrow and slides easily, making it a decent cue; especially for the money. If you don't want to spend the money for a pro-quality cue (e.g., a Lucasi), this one's not a bad choice. 3 stars for the cue; an extra star for value... 2115|R36Z27CKD3WN52;
