No issues, haven't used if for any labor but it should be able to deal damage to whatever you swing it at. I use it to work out and it has served me well for that purpose.

Must say I'm dissapointed. The "hardwood" handle just broke within 5 min of using it, no joke. I looked on the lable and it says it's from a renewable forest (which means the trees grow fast, which means it's not that hard). Utter dissapointment. Seems like it would be a great product if it weren't for the low quality handle.

Wow, this was a deal and shipping included? amazing. my local hardware store wanted $40 for same thing. I used this one already for pounding some 6 foot fence posts in. Did only 10 posts so far, but this does a fine job.
I would highly recommend this purchase if you want a solid sledge for a bargain price. I can hardly believe they can sell them this low with shipping included. awesome! thanks Amazon!

I've hefted a few sledgehammers and I like this one the best. It looks and feels very sturdy - I'm not worried about the head flying off or anything.

I use it for shovelgloving ([...]). I swing this everywhere and feel totally in control.

It has a very rough (though not slivery) handle. This gives it a fantastic grip, but it will give you blisters if you swing it without gloves on. I assume if you're using a sledgehammer, you'll have gloves on anyway.

I use it bare-handed, but that's because I want calluses, because calluses are manly. After two days of using it for 14 minutes, I am already forming some really cool ones. So for me, that's an upside.

I have no complaints about this product. I don't see why anyone would.
