I am male, 72, small and have lived through 38 Maine winters. This is the best snow shovel I have owned! The fact that it weighs less than two pounds and has a long handle saves my back. It can't be used for chopping

ice and it takes a smaller bite than most snow shovels, but it is the best for almost effortless snow shoveling. This should be called the "No heart attack shovel".

My old steel shovel bit the dust so I needed a replacement. This Ames True Temper shovel is the best. I use the shovel for moving cattle

feed on a wooden floor so the aluminum will not wear out. It is light weight which is a big plus. I prefer wooden handles over those metal

handles. This shovel can last for years if used in a non abrasive

environment.

we have looked for this shovel in stores but only found steel this is the nicest shovel for cleaning semi cattle trailers. easy on the back and gets the job done.
