Well built and ultra lite weight, allows me to loadup and shovel less. Additionally, I have a flat roof with a rubber membrane that is easily damaged using metal shovels, so the Ames plastic shovel worx wonders.

I've been using this to shovel snow for about 2 months now. Its been a snowy winter, dry snow, wet snow, deep snow, just dustings of snow. This shovel is GREAT !!! My back never hurts, I can move the snow, heavy or light, without great effort. I can't imagine why this has not become the conventional snow shovel. It is the only one I'll ever use. I can't say enough good about it. Light-weight, sturdy, long handle saves your back and increases your leverage and throw radius, wet snow doesn't stick to the blade...This is a working tool...I repeat - I cannot say enough good about this shovel as a snow-clearing tool...I'm a happy camper...

This is a great snow shovel for heavy, wet snow. It is sturdy enough to offer support when throwing the snow. Not being metal makes it easy to pick up the snow without scraping up the driveway or porch. I have bought them as gifts for friends since I live in Colorado where heavy snowfall is the norm in the winter.
