The edger is made with a half-moon head attached to the handle via a spindly piece of metal. After edging about 10 feet, this metal piece bent. It was simple enough to bend it back into shape, but it rebends every time I attempt to use it. In other words, it breaks with normal use.
I replaced it with this edger Radius Garden 206 PRO Ergonomic Stainless Steel Edger for the same price. The Radius edger seems virtually indestructible and was actually easier to use. This was the last Ames product I'll ever buy. |
