Designed to carry all you'll need for a wide variety of outdoor chores, the Ames Work Center hose cart is ideal for the gardener on the go. This handy tool shed on wheels is made almost entirely from lightweight plastic. Standing about 2-1/2 feet tall, the cart measures slightly over 2 feet wide and a little under 2 feet deep, including the handle--small enough to store in your garage but big enough to carry a surprising array of equipment.
The lid of the work center lifts easily to reveal a roomy internal storage compartment that can be used to hold anything from topsoil to fertilizers to extra planters. A removable 2-gallon bucket (included) attaches to the outside rim of the cart to hold extra tools or other equipment. Clipped to the outside of the cart, the bucket's three cutouts can hold the shafts of longer tools, conveniently keeping them within reach.
As it comes fully assembled, setting up the cart is easy and requires little more than attaching the 8-foot-long leader hose to your outdoor spigot and your garden hose to the cart. Once attached, the cart's auto-track hose guide automatically winds hose evenly every time with the crank of a handle, preventing troublesome tangles or snags that can damage your hose. Great idea, but flawed.,

The Ames work center hose cart is a great idea. It combines hidden storage, a long feed hose which is tucked into the side, a handy work top, a removable wash bucket and a reel which keeps the hose from tangling up by the use of a moving hose guide. The only problem with this ingenious invention is that the cart's handle is on the opposite side as its wheels, which makes for clumsy handling if you try to move it across a hilly or bumpy lawn. The reason for this odd placement is apparent; if the handle and wash bucket positions were switched, you couldn't turn the wheel crank without hitting the bucket. This could easily have been avoided by mounting the wash bucket on the front side of the cart. I still give it three stars; if I didn't need to move the cart often, it would rate five stars.

When I received this cart, the side caddy was not included. Although it is a good product I paid $116 for it & expected to receive what I thought I was paying for. Amazon had me contact AceOutlet, they responded by telling me to contact the manufacture, at that point I was tired dealing with it & will never get side caddy.

hose cart,
The cart itself is fine, but the hose to connect it to a water source leaves something to be desired. The fitting on the end opposite the cart is flimsy, of poor design and"blew off" the hose the first time it was used. We had to replace it before using it at all.
