This set (lapel pin and earrings) are designed to look best from 3-6 feet away. They're not incredibly detailed but folks can tell what they are at social occasions if they are standing and talking to you.
The jewelry itself is very lightweight but not in any way what I would call cheaply-made or cheesy. In fact, it's difficult to make this sort of sterling "animal jewelry" look tasteful but this has been achieved in this instance. I think that for the price they are a great value. My wife only recently returned from a birdwatching expedition in Ecuador so I thought they'd make a nice personal gift -- she liked them a great deal and she wears them frequently. Recommended. |
