Another wonderful book by best selling author Samantha Jillian Bayarr. As most young people do, Grace Fisher thinks the grass is greener on the other side & leaves her Amish community leaving behind her extremely harsh father & Ethan, the man who loves her & wants to marry her. Having just been baptized, Grace is shunned by her church & family. Grace marries the first Englisher that pays attention to her & is soon pregnant & divorced. With no job, no place to live & little money, Grace heads home hoping her family will not reject her in her current condition and it being almost Christmas. Of course, Grace is sent away by her father. She finds herself in a blizzard & her car stuck not far from where Ethan lives. Ethan, still in love with Grace, has never married. Ethan's family is away for the holidays & he was to spend Christmas with his sister that lives nearby. The blizzard, however, changed everything.

Grace & Ethan both had made Christmas wishes. You'll love reading how circumstances come about that bring these two together again & whether their wishes come true or not.

Samantha has also included a bonus short story called The Christmas Prayer which is a great story about 2 children playing matchmaker for their parents. Hannah's mother is a widow & Bart's father a widower.

Also included is a recipe for Amish Sugar Creme Pie

What a beautiful story. Grace was in such dire straits and Eathan was right there to rescue her. Such a great love story! Samantha Jillian Bayarr never disappoints when she writes a story and the fact that The Christmas Prayer is included also is a great added bonus of another Amish love story. Those two kids, Hannah and Bart make the story extra interesting. Thanks again Samantha for your wonderful gift of writing great stories and using it to honor God. I look forward to your next book.

Both of these stories are so sweet; I don't know which one I like better! I love that there are two complete stories in one. In the first and longer story, An Amish Christmas Wish, I like how gentle and caring Ethan is and how Grace finds hope even through the most difficult moments. The second story, The Christmas Prayer, I loved the children and thought the story was so cute and uplifting. This book definitely captures the romance of the Christmas season and will put anyone in the mood for Christmas (even in the summer)!

Samantha Jillian Bayarr does it again. I just discovered her books a few weeks ago, and she is fast becoming my favorite author. I couldn't put this book down! Both stories are equally touching. Read it! You'll like it!

This was just a short story! It was one that had no surprises. You could see what was going to happen right from the start, yet they kept repeating things til I got sick of it. I generally like the Amish stories even though they seem to have the same themes, but this one had no umph to it!
