Book Description

A new full-length novel from Sarah Price!

Based on her own experiences living among the Amish for over twenty-five years as well as her own Mennonite heritage, Sarah Price once again takes readers on an unforgettable journey to the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Faith Landes and Rebecca Yoder were friends from a young age. The one was raised Mennonite while the other was raised Amish. Despite the differences in their upbringing, they remain life-long "bestest" friends. When tragedy strikes, a promise made in their youth is put to the test with the guiding hand of Rebecca. This remarkable story explores a once-in-a-lifetime friendship that changes lives throughout the Amish community.

What Readers Are Saying...
If you wanted to learn all you could about the Amish culture and traditions but only had time for one book, this would be the one.
Jean Marc

One of the most authentic Amish stories that I have read to date. Sarah Price continues to amaze me with how much she truly knows both the Amish culture and the religion. This type of knowledge can only come from someone who has immersed herself into their lives. Bravo for a job well done…again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book! April 24, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
What a rich story! Once again Sarah has captured my imagination and pulled at my heartstrings to tell the story of a forever friendship. The kind of friendship that transcends time and space, a once in a lifetime friendship that will never be forgotten. When Rebecca and Faith become friends as children, they make a promise to each other never to be broken. As years go by and things happen, even tragedy, their bond was never broken, and the promise is tested. While your heart cries within this book, it sings throughout, too. Yes, this can be listed as a romance and once again we see Sarah's wonderful, unique, romantic style of pen, but it's the story of a friendship, the long, enduring, lifelong friendship that'll have you thinking about this book long after you turn the last page. Well done!!

5.0 out of 5 stars A touching tale of friendship... May 23, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Wow! I just finished "Amish Faith", and I truly was touched. I love Amish fiction, and this was a treat. I read it in 2 absorbing sessions; couldn't put it down! You'll love the story of Faith' s and Rebecca's enduring childhood friendship, told primarily in flashbacks following Rebecca's untimely death in childbirth. I won't spoil the story by revealing any more. Thank you to Sarah Price for this well-written and heartwarming story! I'll be looking for more of your books.

Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love reading Amish stories. Even thou I am not Amish I love the simplicity of their lives and it makes you think about yours. I loved how they brought this couple together and how they had to he had to court her and wait for their relationship to go further until marred. You don't see that now days. It was a simple relaxing read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great story as told by a master story teller April 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
What do you do when you can't wait to find out what happens next? Read faster ... and then sigh as you read the last word, not wanting it to end. That is the best description I can give this book but, also, a warning - don't get confident that you know what's going to happen because Ms. Price has a few curve balls up her sleeve. Each character is so fully developed, so complete that you are certain you will actually meet them on the street one day and know them instantly. The depth of description sweeps you up and puts you right in the room. There is great love on many, many levels and despair that will have tears running down your face. We should all be so lucky to know a friendship such as this one. I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed!

Sarah Price self-published her first book, Fields of Corn, in 2009, a book she wrote thirty years earlier while studying anthropology and writing at Drew University (Madison, NJ). Fields of Corn became an Amazon bestseller and fans began asking her for more books.

In 2013, she signed with Realms, a division of Charisma House, to publish the Amish Classics series. Initially focusing on the retelling of Jane Austen's timeless classics from within an Amish setting, her first traditionally published book, First Impressions, A Retelling of Pride & Prejudice, debuted on the ECPA bestseller list. She intends to continue retelling classics, including the Bronte sisters and Victor Hugo, as she enjoys "raising the bar" on her own intellectual stimulation as well as that of her expansive base of loyal readers.

In 2014, she signed with Waterfall Press and published An Amish Buggy Ride which because the #1 bestseller in Religious Romance.
