Bottom line: the bad design makes the wobbly wheels fall off. The toll-free help number in the box - I am not making this up - rings to an adult chat site ad. Marx Toys name is all over the box and the instructions, but a little research shows they went down in a stock swindle. It is really made in Monterrey, Mexico. If I bring it back to the local ToysRUs store I am out the Andrew Jackson I spent on shipping etc. So since I am a very handy fix-any toy kind of Dad I just keep buying cap-nuts at TruValu Hardware for two bits and hammering them on. Doesn't really matter cause the basement floor is chewing up the hollow plastic wheels pretty fast. Too bad cause it is wicked fun when it works!

I noticed a lot of extra space on the axles when I was assembling the big wheels and put some extra washers on to snug up the clearance and it worked good; no slop means no wobbling and no hammering on the end caps so no falling apart.

The kid learned to counter-rotate the wheels and spin herself up to about 200rpm--holy cow! Great toy if you've got the space; big basement or garage with concrete floors are best; great fun, builds arm strength, wish they had an adult version sometime.

I first bought a Krazy Kar in 1978 for my daughter. It attracted me because it is one of the few toys that uses arm strength to propel it. It was an immediate hit in the neighborhood and was enjoyed for many years. When my granddaughter turned four I thought of it right away and had it shipped to her. She LOVES it, as does her one year old brother who, though he can't operate it yet, loves to just sit in it. Great toy!

I had this toy as a kid. I rode it endlessly until the tires wore out. I purchased it for my four year old grandson. He was immediately able to work the hand powered wheels. Within a short time he was able to make it go in circles shouting out whee! Great for motor skills. I highly recommend this toy.

We bought this toy as a therapy aid for our son. It would help build his upper body strength and also help with vestibular stimulation. The toy is cheap and will not last long at all under normal use. As our son is weak and timid, it seems to be holding up well, but with our neuro-typical children it wobbles and we finally bought a second one for them to destroy so that they could have fun while our special needs son could keep his for his therapy. With typical wild-and-crazy use (particularly with our boys) it needs constant little repairs.

My little sister had a Whiz Wheel back in the early 80's and she was the envy of the neighborhood. I am amazed at how very few people remember this nostalgic toy. Thank you Amazon for bringing me back to the good ol days with the newer version called the Krazy Kar. I am determined to keep my granddaughter active and away from the sedentary lifestyle. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

We bought this for our four year old grandson for Xmas. He has only used it one day so he hasn't gotten the coordination down pat yet but he really enjoyed playing with it. It will do great in developing his coordination and strength of both arms. It is very apparent which arm is stonger as the car turns more in that direction. The only problem I can see is that when he ran off the concrete onto a gravel driveway, the gravel really started cutting into the wheels. We had to make a "no off the driveway" rule or it wouldn't last more than a few weeks.

This item came to us in a battered box, without all of its parts. Called Amloid and they took our address, said they would send the parts in 7-10 business days, that was on June 4, 2014. We have since called them again and still no parts. It is too expensive to send the huge box back so we are stuck waiting. Very disappointed.
