Product Description

Action/Adventure/Mystery/Comedy

In this action packed follow up to Fruitbasket from Hell, private investigator Alex Cheradon is faced with a nail biting case.

Reeling from the public relations nightmare that accompanied accidentally tackling a senator's daughter, Alex is approached by man with a lethal case of amnesia. He wants to hire Alex to find out who he is, and since he just happens to have a winning lotto ticket that's worth 10 million dollars, money's no object. But as Alex starts to look into the man's past he finds more questions then answers and a whole lot of people out to kill him.

The clock is officially ticking. The crazies are coming out of the woodwork. And it's down to Alex to save the day..

This is Book 2 in the Alex Cheradon Series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even better than the first Cheradon mystery, November 4, 2009
This review is from: A is for Amnesia, B is for Bullet (Alex Cheradon Mysteries) (Kindle Edition)
I enjoyed Fruit Basket from Hell. I liked A is for Amnesia even better. It had a little less gore than the first book. Alex's assistant cracked me up. Jason Krumbine delivers again with his mix of wit and wackiness. Looking forward to book #3 to see what the author does with the crazy time travel sequences.

1.0 out of 5 stars Wacky Plot and Annoying Dialogue, July 22, 2010

This review is from: A is for Amnesia, B is for Bullet (Alex Cheradon Mysteries) (Kindle Edition)
I confess I purchased this mostly due to its $2.99 download price; and because the book's description sounded like it would be an amusing light mystery. The story is more of a bizarre sci-fi than mystery; involving human cloning, and other concepts. But at the talking corpse out of the coffin point, I left it. The story is hard to follow. The author jumps to different and unrelated concepts, characters, and scenerios with no real flow or sense. Characters are brought into the story without giving the reader any idea of who they are, or how they relate. And the conversations between him and his assistant quickly passed from amusing to very annoying. I am an avid reader, I can read and enjoy about anything..but this one I could not finish.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as much humor as the first in the series but worth it for those who enjoyed the first in the series, July 16, 2011

This review is from: A is for Amnesia, B is for Bullet (Alex Cheradon Mysteries) (Kindle Edition)
I just finished A is for Amnesia, B is for Bullet, the second Alex Cheradon mystery. I really enjoyed the first in the series, Fruitbaskets From Hell and loved it. This second book was fine but I missed the humor that made the character....

Alex is on another couple of cases that has him time traveling with his sidekick, throw in the supernatural, some mob, and this story goes. Of course everything is ok by the end.

For those who enjoyed the first in the series, this one is worth buying for the entertainment, but it was lacking in the witty humor I loved from the first. I'll soon be reading the third in the series and will post my review on that one soon.
