Sharpie markers are permanent!!!

It does a better job on fountain pen ink than it does on ballpoint ink.

Few things will removed Sharpe from surfaces. Acetone and some alcohols will. Dry erase markers will remove it from white boards. But Acetone will burn a hole in acetate used in carpet. Based on a recommendation from the Sharpe page's FAQs, I tried Amodex on red Sharpe on mushroom carpet. It took a couple of applications, but all of the stain was removed. How a 2 year old can find a Sharpe in a batch of 100 markers when they baby sitters back is turned, that is still unsolved.

I first found out about Amodex on a Martha Stewart show. I purchased the first bottle at Office Max. When I realized how fantastic it is, I now purchase it in multiple large bottles. A stain on a shirt that could not be removed with all the recommended methods came out the first time with Amodex. Everyone I tell about this product and tries it has the same revelation. The best stain remover product on the market!

Looking at the other reviews, I see that this product doesn't work for everyone, but when I got (black) Sharpie on a (red) leather chair, I tried using Amodex, and it worked immediately (and easily). I was pretty blown away. (And I promise not to use Sharpies sitting in the nice leather chair anymore.)

I don't know about ink, I don't usually have that problem but I do get oil stains on clothes.
I forget to put on an apron when I cook and I get oil splatters and I've ruined some of my favorite tops. Or I simple drop a small lettuce leaf piece on a blouse and it's a goner.
This is the only product that not only gets out oil spots but it gets out oil spots that have been there a while. I got our stains out after they've been put in a dryer and that's usually close to impossible. So I'm very satisfied with this product. It's not cheap but you only need a little for it to work.

I've tried other products to remove ink from clothes. Including taking items to the dry cleaner to little avail. Nothing else works as well.

Purchased Amodex Ink and Stain Remover 1oz after getting a stain on a beautiful tiffany blue skirt I had which had some food stains on it. I had tried some other stain removers and they would not get the stain out after laundering several times (I never put the skirt in the dryer). Amodex removed the stains! I was so happy since I had only worn the skirt twice. I also tried removing a stain on my carpet which is a light oatmeal color. The stain was immediately gone.
Don't walk, RUN to get this item!! I'm getting more to give to friends!! Best hidden secret stain removal EVER!!!!
**I purchased mine from The Container Store, I had never heard of the product until I saw it there. Ordering online elsewhere is cheaper, so I recommend that.

We got ink on my brand new microfiber sofa. This product did a nice job of taking most of the ink out. There is still a very slight stain, but not noticeable. I would absolutely try this product again.

When I picked up my perfectly pressed white shirt from the dry cleaners, I noticed a tag on the button whole. My dry cleaner told me that I must have given them a shirt with black ink on it and they were not able to remove the stain. I did not remember any black ink on my shirt but what could I do. I told my girlfriend and she said that I should try something that she bought a few months ago and let me borrow her bottle of Amodex. I followed the instructions and the stain came out immediately after I rubbed it into the stain with my finger. I was sold. Now I'm debating whether I should let my dry cleaner know about this little secret. I guess I should be nice.
