This is the Amoena Lara molded-cup wire-free mastectomy bra. It has seamless, smooth contour cups with mesh pockets on both sides that will hold breast forms or enhancers. I have not had a mastectomy or lumpectomy, but I am very small-breasted (32AA-32A) and wanted a pocketed bra that I could use with silicone inserts. I'm happy with my natural size; the problem is that I can't fill out tailored blouses or suit jackets properly without a little help.

Silicone is great for a natural look, but it's not very comfortable against the skin. It doesn't breathe well, so you end up sweating underneath it. The Amoena pockets go a long way towards solving this problem. I can wear my inserts and still be fairly comfortable. Plus, they are completely invisible inside this bra because of the molded cups. I have the Lara bra in a size 32B, and with full-cup inserts it gives me just enough extra curves -- doesn't look fake, and there are no tell-tale lumps.

Probably my favorite feature of the Lara bra is the side boning. It provides a great fit without the need for an under-wire. Also, this bra is pretty! I don't feel like my grandma when I wear it. The only thing I might change is the amount of coverage -- this is a full-coverage bra and since I am fairly petite, it covers a lot of area on me. I don't like to wear it outside in hot weather, but it's perfect in an air-conditioned work environment.
