I loved this album. Jeff Healy gets it just right. He incorporates traditional jazz in a very contemporary way.

a different jeff healey,alot different. I realize different people have different needs and ambitions,he should stick with what made him famous-- the blues--and some r&r.He is an awesome guitar player and has a great penchant for jazz,but it just doesn't fit his staus quo. fast shipping great cd just a little toooooo diffferent for my taste.

Everything I've heard from Jeff Healey up til now has been phenomenal but THIS...This is not Jeff Healey, this is Frank Sinatra or some type of ragtime swill from the twenties. In fact, much of it sounds like an old time cartoon soundtrack. Like when Bluto grabs Olive Oyl and makes her dance with him. I understand the title now, "Among Friends." Because only a friend would buy this. |
