Amor Secreto was how I discovered Luis Fonsi. I heard him on t.v. one day and I was hooked. I love Quisiera Poder Olvidarme de ti, it is so amazing. Fonsi has a voice that is truly a gift. Once I heard Amor Secreto I bought all of his other albums and they are all amazing. All of the songs on every album are high quality, they are all good enough to be released as singles. I must confess that I am addicted to his music and can't get enough. No lo cambio por ninguno, el es todo lo que quiero.

After his debut "Comenzaré" and successful follow up, "Eterno", here comes Luis Fonsi's third album. Titled "Amor secreto" ( "Secret love" ), it contains 12 tracks plus a remix version of the album's first single "Quisiera poder olvidarme de ti", a powerful ballad, an area in which Fonsi excels.

Unlike the majority of Latin albums, this cd has more of an international sound to it. The songs are either beautiful ballads or uptempo r&b-influenced pop songs.

Ballad-fans will be hooked up by Luis' powerful yet very emotional voice and excellent production. "Te vas" ("you leave") sees Fonsi singing about how it feels when the one you love is leaving, and he is able to transmit strong feelings into his voice. The chorus is great and it's quite a good song to sing a long ( despite the difficulty in reaching those high notes he reaches effortlessly). As well as this, ( and first single) other slow moments are " Y ahora como te olvido" ( " how do I forget you" ) , "Tu puedes salvarme" ( "you can save me") or "Para vivir" ( "To live") a very emotional song in which Fonsi sings accompanied by a piano and some strings.

For those of you who enjoy uptempo tracks, you would be in heaven with "Fuera de Control" ("out of control") a greatly produced track which sees Luis at Britney-territory. "Irresistible" ("irresistible") goes in a similar direction and will have you singing in no time.

For those of you who don't speak Spanish, you will most probably enjoy the album all the same. Moreover, you will soon start singing lyrics in Spanish. If you like Luis Fonsi, then you must listen to his duet with Christina Aguilera, available in Aguilera's Spanish debut album "Mi reflejo"", in my opinion the best duet I have ever heard.

"Amor secreto", may sound familiar since it's the first single to his English debut. The track is called "Secret" and proved popular in US radios. If you enjoy artists of the like of Marc Anthony, or Christina Aguilera, you should give this a try! - I'm quite sure you won't regret it!.

Luis Fonsi has The kind of vocal ability that enchants you.The splendor of his voice lies in the ability to transmit purely his emotions, elevating the song into a land of intimacy.Your mood flactuates simultaneously through this Album with a gesture from Fonsi' vocal grandieuse.The first single "quisiera poder olvidarme de ti" might be just another ballad, but the singer definetely polishes it with his magic.Fonsi already a talented singer, has matured significantly in this album ,he's more in control of his voice and he's more of a smooth crooner.Luis Fonsi thank you for the great voice and the music.....

Luis Fonsi's third album is full of soulful ballads. Some are not the sad and sappy kind but have much of our favorite pop/dance rhythm in it. The best part is he is featured as a producer on these ballads and the result is impressive. His voice is incredible and he does a beautiful job at making you feel the emotions he is singing about. Some of my favorite tracks are Quisiera Poder Olvidarme De Ti, Te Vas, and Para Vivir, these are some of his slower ballads but they are skillfully performed.

Great CD, songs to relate to. Great rhythm in fast songs, and great feeling in slow songs. Much appeal for everyone.

This is a good CD, but if you are looking for a great cd by this singer,check out "Abrazar la Vida" and the latest "Paso a Paso". Luis fonsi has a great and powerful voice . My favorite songs on this CD are: Te Vas and Quisiera poder olvidarme de ti.

I love Luis Fonsi's voice and songs on this cd. I think his songs have more depth to them this time around. I would definitly recommend this CD to anyone who loves Latin Pop. It has catchy tunes and easy to listen to again and again.... :)
Keep on singin' Luis!

After two excellent productions, Luis Fonsi's "Amor Secreto" falls short in my list. His upcoming launch into the U.S. pop-R&B market has penetrated deep in his musical style, making him sound like a one-man boy band. His lyrics are extremely juvenile (in how many ways can he sing "I can't forget her"?); songwriting talents don't go beyond the typical teenager's love angsty poems, which is disappointing for a twenty five year old.

"Para Vivir", a song written by Pablo Milanes, stands out as a solid ending, in the same way as "Seria Facil" in Eterno, his sophomore production. That and his vocal ability account for the two stars I have awarded this album.
