Ha publicado las novelas Amor curiosidad, prozac y dudas (1997), Beatriz y los cu erpos celestes (Premio Nadal 1998), Nosotras que no somos como las demas (1999), y el libro La Eva futura/la letra futura (2000), un a recopilacion de textos sobre literatura y feminismo. Es doctora honoris causa en letras por la Universidad de Aberdeen.

Great insight into contemporary life in Madrid,

I read this book (twice now!) to keep up with my Spanish, and I loved it. It's about three sisters who think they are nothing alike (the party girl, the business woman and the housewife)but find out that their greatest bond is their strength. It's funny, sad and insightful about women's experiences in Madrid and everywhere.

Probably one of the most refreshing texts in Spanish current literature, and, althought not the most laureated one from the writer (winner of two very prestigious Spanish awards and 'Honoris Causa' Ph.D. By the University of Aberdeen)this is Etxebarria at her best. Written by a woman and addressed to women, the book gives us an alternative, to the predominant male focussed, view of modern society.

Si usted va a casar con Sr. Dudas, entonces debes usar prozac toda su vida.
Su fuerte is increible. Tiene mucho machismo. Que barbaridad!
